Erythritol, also known as phycite, is a natural, lowcalorie, filling sweetener that can replace sucrose. It has a clear sweet taste similar to sucrose. It is widely found in natural animals and plants, such as seaweed, mushrooms, melons,grapes, as well as in human eyeballs, serum, semen. Erythritol is also found in fermented food wine, beer and soy sauce, but in small amounts.Erythritol is the only functional sugar alcohol produced by microbial fermentation in the world.Based on its good health effect, high thermal stability,low moisture absorption, low freezing point and excellent processing characteristics,erythritol is widely used in many fields, such as food,medicine, chemical industry and so on.
Product characteristics: Erythritol appears as a white powder crystal, and the aqueous solution is a colorless, nonviscous liquid.Slightly sweet,
relative to sucrose sweetness of 70%-80%,cool feeling, low calorific value, only 1/10 of sucrose calorific value, easily crystallized.Its chemical properties are similar to other polyols, do not contain reducing aldehyde group, stable to heat and acid (applicable to PH2-12), compared with Sorbitol, Mannitol,Xylitol and other sugar alcohols, molecular weight is lower, solution osmotic pressure is high
